This information will be reviewed during the initial intake session and revisited periodically throughout our work together. My goal is to ensure that you understand the responsibilities, expectations, and policies before beginning therapy.

Michigan Services

Individual and Couples counseling are available to clients in the state of Washington. Services are designed to support each client's unique needs, goals, and healing process. Please review the options below to learn more about insurance-covered and private-pay counseling before selecting the booking option that best fits your needs.

Private Pay Serivces

Private-pay counseling services are available to Washington clients who prefer to pay directly rather than use insurance. Individual and couples counseling sessions are tailored to your personal needs, relationship concerns, emotional wellness, and therapeutic goals.

Private pay may be a good option for clients who do not have accepted insurance, prefer more privacy around their care, or are seeking services that may not be covered by insurance, such as couples counseling.

Please review the private pay booking option to learn more and schedule the service that best fits your needs.

What is the difference between individual counseling and couples counseling?

Individual counseling focuses on your personal mental health, emotional wellness, life experiences, and therapy goals. Couples counseling focuses on the relationship, communication patterns, conflict, trust, emotional connection, and shared goals between partners.

Michigan couples counseling is not billed through insurance at this time. Couples counseling is available through private pay.

What should I expect before my first session?

You may be asked to complete intake paperwork, consent forms, and practice policies before your appointment. These forms are mandatory before the initial intake can proceed, as they help you understand the therapy process, expectations, and your rights as a client.

What if I still have questions?

You are welcome to reach out before booking to ask questions or schedule a consultation. I will help guide you toward the next best step based on your location, service needs, and payment options.
