Couples Counseling WA
Couples therapy provides a supportive space for partners to slow down, communicate more intentionally, and better understand the patterns impacting their relationship. Whether you are navigating conflict, emotional distance, trust concerns, life transitions, communication struggles, or relationship stress, therapy can help both partners feel heard, understood, and supported.
My approach to couples work is collaborative, honest, and growth-focused. Together, we explore the relationship dynamic, identify recurring cycles, strengthen communication, and build healthier ways to respond to one another. Couples therapy is not about blame; it is about creating space for repair, accountability, emotional safety, and connection.
Insurance
Covered Couples
Therapy

I am currently in-network with Aetna WA, Cigna WA, Cigna EAP WA, Kaiser Permanente WA, Kaiser Permanente Northwest WA, UnitedHealthcare WA, and UnitedHealthcare EAP WA.
Please note that insurance coverage for couples therapy may vary by plan, diagnosis, medical necessity requirements, and insurance policy guidelines. Being in-network with an insurance company does not guarantee that couples therapy will be covered. Clients are encouraged to verify their benefits directly with their insurance provider and/or Mindful Therapy Group before scheduling.
Insurance-based services, if accepted, will be scheduled and managed through Mindful Therapy Group, with assistance related to insurance verification, scheduling, billing, and client support.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and held via secure telehealth. For more information and to thoroughly review the client disclosure statement, please click the button below to be redirected to the booking page for insurance-based clients.

Private Pay Couples Therapy
Private pay couples therapy is available for couples who do not have insurance coverage for couples work, prefer not to use insurance, have an out-of-network plan, or desire more flexibility and privacy in how they access therapy.
The MI location accepts only private-pay clients at this time. The initial couples intake session is $80. Intake sessions must be 50 minutes or longer to allow time for gathering clinical history, assessment, treatment planning, review of informed consent, and completion of required documentation. After the intake appointment, session rates may vary based on session length, service type, and additional details outlined in the practice disclosure and consent documents before services begin.
Before services begin, clients will receive information on rates, scheduling, confidentiality, payment expectations, cancellation policies, and the structure of couples therapy.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and held via secure telehealth. Click the button below to be redirected to the booking page for private-pay clients.
Client Disclosure Statement
The client disclosure statement is provided to help you understand important information about therapy, including client rights, confidentiality, fees, scheduling, cancellation policies, telehealth services, and expectations for care.
This information will be reviewed during the initial intake session and revisited periodically throughout our work together. My goal is to ensure that you understand the responsibilities, expectations, and policies before beginning therapy.
If you have any questions or need clarification after reviewing the disclosure, please feel free to reach out before scheduling. Please click the button below to review the client disclosure statement.
